Equestrian Themed Gift Stratton Horse Compact
A highly collectible equestrian themed Stratton compact mirror.
The lid is decorated with a Thoroughbred horse, which is highly likely to be a famous racehorse.
It is said that the owners of the Stratton brand produced a limited edition line which featured four very famous horses, one of them was the grey stallion named Colonist II who was owned by Sir Winston Churchill.
The horse depicted on the lid of this compact appears to be black.
Lift the lid to see a mirror which gives a good and accurate reflection.
The inner lid is decorated with the Compact-in-Hand logo & attractive vertical lines.
The original pouch and sifter are present.
The catches and hinges work perfectly.
The compact is in good condition with some signs of minor wear to the decoration.
This Stratton Marquise powder compact would make an ideal handbag mirror, loose foundation compact mirror or cherished display collectible.
