A Somerset English fusee dial antique clock. A 12 " painted dial signed 'Rd Morgan, Minehead'. A mahogany case with a brass bezel surround. A quality fusee mechanism of 8-day duration.
Richard Morgan of Minehead is listed in Loomes' 'Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World' book as working in 1875. He is also recorded in the Somerset Clockmakers book and they are noted as a clockmaking family from 1839.
