A high quality and smaller proportioned gorge case striking carriage antique clock retailed by Elkington, Regent Street, London. An enamel dial with 'moon' blued steel hands. Concave and convex case mouldings and a large oval glass top aperture. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong with the original lever escapement. Circa 1885. The original travelling box.
