A good quality Edwards & Roberts carved oak settle, hall seat or monk's bench. The back with 3 wonderful carved panels each having a country scene including hunting, shooting and a shepherd with sheep. The seat lifts to reveal a useful storage area and the carved arm supports are in the form of mythical dragons. The base with further decorative carving and solid end supports. Circa 1880 and in good original condition. Stamped Edwards & Roberts. Dimensions :- Height…32’’/ 81.5cm. Width…65’’/ 165cm. Depth…17’’/ 43cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £65.
