This is an antique, Edwardian bookcase dating to c.1910.

Beautifully constructed in English oak and displaying good colour and patina in warm tones, this bookcase features a pair of sliding, glazed doors with the original thick gauge, bevelled edge glass.

Raised on a continuous plinth the cabinet offers four adjustable shelves beneath a narrow frieze and planked top that over hangs to the rear allowing it to nestle against a wall where a skirting board is present.

The doors slide smoothly and close snugly offering a dust free environment within. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
