A very good Edwardian period burr walnut pedestal desk in the early Georgian style. Well constructed in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. With an arrangement of 9 drawers, all fitted with their original solid brass handles. The top is fitted with a sumptuous green leather writing surface complete with gilt tooling to the surrounds. The top of the desk and drawer fronts are all inset with feather and dart inlay. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a great colour, ready to go straight into the home.
