Early Victorian Walnut Writing Table /Sewing Table
A superb mid 19th century walnut writing table or sewing table.
The inlaid top opens to a beautifully fitted interior with the original adjustable leather writing surface surrounded by an array of storage compartments above a single divided drawer and large lower storage compartment. The piece is raised on turned legs, scroll feet and original brass and ceramic castors.
Very good condition, structurally all sound with just some beautiful aged colour and light surface wear. The top lock works, supplied with one key, while the lower key is simply in place in order to pull the drawer.
