An early 'One Piece' case carriage antique clock. A gilded case with engraved detailing to front, top, back and sides. A large glass aperture to the lever escapement. An enamel dial with 5-minute outer markers. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Numbered 5998. Circa 1855.
