We have for sale a very attractive and late Victorian or Edwardian Doulton Lambeth jug.

This striking jug is decorated in cobalt blue to upper quarter with flowers on a brown ground to the remainder of the body. The base is marked with the Pattern No 8598, the impressed Doulton Lambeth mark along with the Doulton Slaters Patent Mark dating it to around 1891-1914. The base also caries an incised decorators mark that looks like a fg.

The jug is approximately 6.75 inches high and is in an excellent condition with no chips cracks or repairs and very little surface wear.
