A good quality early 20th century mahogany cased mantel antique clock with an 8-day mechanical movement that has a striking mechanism on the half and full hour. This strikes on a gong. The movement has been fully serviced and is in full working condition. The case is predominantly mahogany with fine boxwood stringing to the front with an oval inlaid marquetry plaque. To the sides are a pair of brass decorative handle. Behind the domed glass door is the white enamel dial which has black Roman numerals and an outer chapter ring with the numbers at the quarters. circa 1910 PW-9
