Derby Porcelain Barrel Shaped Cider Mug c.1760-65
A lovely 18th century Derby porcelain barrel shaped cider mug with moulded strapped bands and grooved strap handle. Finely painted in bright enamels with floral sprays in pink, orange, purple, yellow, green, blue and cyan with a red-brown rim. c.1760-1765.
It measures 14.2cm (5 5/8") high and 10cm (4") wide.
Condition is very good: there are three small chips to the foot rim but I'm pretty sure they are from manufacture. No other issues and no repairs or restoration. Very minor handling wear, mainly just to the enamel on the rim. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
Price includes UK shipping. Worldwide shipping is also available, please ask for a cost.
We wish to ensure all our customers are happy with their purchases and offer a full no quibble return policy for all items returned within 14 days. We ask that returns are notified within 7 days where possible. Return postage is the buyer's responsibility in terms of cost and safeguarding the item through transit.
