A really unusual & most decorative 19th century mantle clock, the 8 day movement striking on a bell within a gilt case. Decorated with bronze figures of a male draped with a lion skin, holding aloft a bird, accompanied by a dog, opposing a maiden with a fish & nets. Ht 44, W 32, D 11 cms.
