A good quality early 19th century convex dial antique clock. It has a fine outer wooden surround and a cast brass bezel with a traditional pegged case. The 8 day fusee movement has an anchor escapement and stop work to prevent over winding. The dial is signed by the maker Russell of Norwich. Benjamin Russell is listed as a clockmaker working in Norwich 1830-1875.

case is in excellent condition, the dial has been restored, the movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months. We have been established since 1978, dealing in and restoring most antiques, specialising in clocks and furniture. We have our own workshops where we carry out specialist restoration work.-
