A beautiful impressive continental cobalt blue ormolu mounted comport. This large comport has a deep blue colour with a triform base. The bowl being held up by stylised dolphins. The bowl has sloping sides with a decorative cap to the centre. There is an ormolu band to the top edge of bowl.
There are no identification marks to base so unsure of manufacturer, but I think this is possible French it is a stunning item and would grace any table or sideboard.
