A gorgeous gleaming 1950s Kigu loose powder compact. The Kigu 'jeweller's gilt finish' ensures that this piece will retain its delightful golden appearance and not need to be cleaned. The lid features a blank cartouche ideal for engraving. The interior case contains the original puff and sifter. The mirror gives a clear and accurate reflection. The inner lid is decorated with the most beautiful guilloche engraving and the Kigu Ltd. trademark. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The base is decorated with 'Barley corn' guilloche engraving. The compact, puff and sifter are free of powder. Measures 3" x just over 2 1/4" and weighs 93.6 grams.
