Here we have a wonderful William and Mary Elm coffer bach c1690. As you can see the coffer has great colour and patina. There is a two plank top with split pin hinges. The top has great colour and grain. The lid lifts to reveal an open space with a two plank base. There is a single long drawer with period brass drops and boarded base. There is a plank base and original turned bun feet. The carving is crisp and beautifully executed but probably 18th century and there are applied mouldings to the front which are 19th century which could be removed. A fantastic piece of period antique furniture in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 34 inches wide 19 deep and 19 high.
