Chamberlain's Worcester Bottle Vase View Malvern
Very pretty Chamberlain's Worcester bottle shaped vase with a bright apple green ground and large reserve with a painted view of Malvern (named on the reverse). A multi layered landscape scene with the mountains in the background and sheep grazing in the fields to the fore. Gilded decoration around the edge of the reserve and spilling around the sides of the vase and gilded rim. Printed mark "CHAMBERLAIN'S WORCESTER MALVERN". c.1840.
It measures 14.5cm (5 3/4") high and 7cm (2 3/4") wide.
Condition is very good with no damage or repair. Surface wear is light in the main, a few minor marks in the green enamel. The enamelled scene is good with one tiny nick to a tree at the side. The gilding is good. There is a nick to the foot rim caused during manufacture. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
