A splendid chest on chest, or tallboy , in the Queen Anne style. Very well made in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. It is of very desirable serpentine shape , with an arrangement of 7 graduated drawers (giving ample storage space) and also a brushing slide. All of the drawers are fitted with their original brass swan neck handles, brass escutcheons and are inlaid with feather banding. The top section is surmounted by a dentil cornice and the whole piece stands on elegant splayed bracket feet. It splits into two section for ease of transportation/installation. We have had this lovely item sympathetically repolished to a very high standard and it is now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
