British Railways Wall Clock
A great original British Railway (BR) 8-day mechanical wall antique clock. This piece is simple in design and construction and has elements of Art Deco styling. The case is made from solid pine which has been stained and has the lettering of PWD WK this denotes Permanent Weigh Department and came from the Wigston sidings in Leicestershire on the Midland railway. The movement is an 8-day mechanical movement which has been fully serviced and is in full working order. The dial is white with black Arabic numbers. NB: please note we have left the case and dial in the condition in that we bought it, as we feel that to restore it would remove some of its industrial feel. circa 1920
