A stylish Stratton compact mirror with a timelessly elegant appearance. This 1960s ladies accessory is suitable for use with Rimmel, Max Factor, CCUK & Miss Beauty 67 mm diameter pans of face powder, as well as loose powder. The original presentation box, pouch and silk puff are included. The compact has not been used with face powder. The lid is decorated with black enamel and a marcasite (pyrite) encrusted bow. All the stones are present. The compact is in good condition with fully functioning clasps and hinges. The mirror gives a clearand accurate reflection. The mirror bezel is signed 'Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND'. Measures 3 1/4" and weighs 101.3 grams. Free lavishly illustrated history of this piece included.
