Offered for sale is a 1982 Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate, designed by Kaj Lange entitled "Waiting for Christmas".
This plate depicts the lull, full of anticipation,
before the family festivities start which in
Denmark begin on Christmas Eve.
The hurry and bustle of busy preparation
is over. For the children there is nothing
left to do but wait.The little girl has
thoughtfully put her teddy bear down where
he can enjoy the Christmas tree, while she
passes the time looking at a hare, that has
come close to the house in search for food.
