Superb Edwardian era Arts & Crafts oak dresser or side cabinet c.1910. Raised gallery with a plate stand and shallow display shelf over two cupboards, the left hand side fitted with drawer and shelf, plus a full depth open pot board shelf below. Striking Arts & Crafts design, the gallery top pierced with a row of heart shaped cutaways and supported on unusual curving brackets. Copper panels with a border of raised roundels and beautiful long strap hinges, also in copper, with pointed spade motifs at the tips repeated in the shape of the handles. Shaped apron above the potboard front and sides and a raised edge at the rear. Square legs with flared feet. Very good quality in solid oak throughout. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
