Circa 1930s. A French shop display cabinet, probably from a glove shop. The top and base have printed lettering ‘Soie sur croisettes au pheix’. The cabinet with 21 glass fronted drawers, each with a small pull handle, the drawers slide out. Beneath the bottom drawer there is further writing and in the base is a single cupboard, the cabinet has rounded corners and is polished on the front and sides, resting on an enclosed plinth.
