Antique Welsh Sycamore Cawl Spoon Ladle Treen
A superb 19th century Welsh sycamore Cawl ladle from Cardiganshire West Wales. Featuring a well carved hook to the end of its handle which would have prevented it from sliding into the large pan or cauldron and would also be used for hanging it when not in use. With nice colour and patinated surface and in good condition with just some historic chipping to the edge of the bowl.
