A good quality antique Victorian oak writing table or desk with 2 drawers dating from circa 1890. In mellow well-figured oak it stands on elegant turned legs with original brass and ceramic casters. Featuring an over-sailing top with faux leather writing surface above two capacious drawers, each with brass drop handles. A well-proportioned piece, it is a good size, offering lots of work space but not too large. In original condition with wear and marks to the top commensurate with age.

Good colour and patina. Some wear to the top commensurate with age. Drop handles have some small splits to the back plates in places – doesn’t affect the handles.
