This antique Victorian mahogany writing table is quite slim from back to front, so it could be very useful for certain areas in the home. It has a tooled leather writing surface inset into a mahogany top. There are two drawers with turned mahogany bun handles. The drawers have very fine dovetails. This desk sits on beautifully turned legs & it's in excellent condition. I would date it to around the 1860-80's period.
