Antique Quality Pair of French Bedside Cabinets
A fine antique quality pair of French Louis XV style bedside cabinets each beautifully crafted in kingwood and tulipwood with exquisite floral marquetry panels and original ormolu mounts.
The serpentine-shaped tops are finished in richly coloured breccia marble perfectly complementing the warm tones of the veneers below. Each cabinet features two drawers with finely detailed floral marquetry, elegant brass handles, and decorative ormolu mounts to the sides, knees, and feet. The subtle chevron-pattern veneer work across the fronts and sides demonstrates superb artistry and precision, typical of fine Parisian craftsmanship in the late 19th century.
These versatile and decorative cabinets would make a wonderful addition as bedside tables, side cabinets, or lamp tables, adding refinement and elegance to any interior.
