Antique Pine Writing Table - Leather Top Desk
This is a very pretty small 19th Century Pine Writing Desk with a dark green tooled leather top.
It has slim tapered turned legs and is in very good condition throughout.
The moulding to the edge of the top continues around all four sides, and the back is nicely finished and polished so the table can free stand in a room.
It has it's original green leather, with gilt tooled borders, brass locks, dovetailed drawer linings and turned wooden knobs, all original too.
The leather is a single piece and of good quality, and in good condition. It has a small area of old damage, where a torn piece has been re laid down, and waxed in to the surrounding surface. It is completely sound. See photo
