Antique Ormolu Bronze Mantel Clock
A high quality French rococo ormolu mantel antique clock. Sound fretted front and side panels with silk backing. A heavy cast bronze case with fixed base plinth and surmounted by a cherub. A convex enamel dial with gilt hands and 5 minute outer dial markers. An 8-day duration mechanism by Marti of Paris striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell. Circa 1885.
