This is a superb antique nightstand. A Scottish, satinwood bedside cabinet or pot cupboard by Taylor & Sons of Edinburgh, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1890.
Graced with striking craftsmanship and figuring, for the finest of bedrooms
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in wonderful antique order
Satinwood stocks present beautifully, with fine grain interest
Light, warm caramel hues beam beneath a wax polish finish
Low back rest to the top, accentuated with a carved demi-lune motif
