A wonderful antique Georgian period pine chest / trunk. This was made in England, we would date it from around the 1780-1800 period.

This is a beautiful, useful and compact piece, full of character and charm. The pine has acquired a gorgeous patina and colour tone, this has original brass fittings and contains lots of storage space. It sits on bracket feet and has lovely joinery, with exposed dovetailed joints on the outer edges.

We have had it stripped and re-polished, various small marks and indentations remain here and there, commensurate for age. This is structurally in very good condition.
