This is an antique gentleman's chest of drawers. An English, oak tallboy of squat proportion, dating to the Georgian period and later, circa 1800.

Wonderfully figured and presenting fine colour
Displaying a desirable aged patina throughout
Select oak shows fine grain interest and an abundance of medullary rays
Rich caramel hues beam beneath a wax polish finish

Arranged as two upper drawers over three graduated, full width drawers
Each dressed with brass drop handles over circular backs
Drawer boxes benefit from the bountiful grain interest of English oak
Standing upon delightful ogee bracket feet to each corner

This is a superb antique chest of drawers, graced with striking grain interest and quality polished finished in caramel hues. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
