Circa 1880, kingwood and gilt metal mounted bijouterie table, bearing the plaque of cabinetmakers and retailers W. F. Greenwood & Sons Ltd., 24 Stonegate, York. The hinged, serpentine top with bevelled edge glass enclosing a velvet lined interior, over a similar shaped under tier with framed, bevelled edge mirror. On cabriole legs with fine rococo style cast knees and elegant cast brass sabots.

W. F. Greenwood & Sons Ltd were established in York in the early 19th century.
