An Early 18th Century Oak Six Plank Coffer oak coffer carving
An early 18th century oak six plank coffer. The lid has scalloped carving along the two sides and is fitted with slip pin hinges. Opening the top reveals a candle box with a lid. The front is carved with a star burst design within a diamond. It has a carved escutcheon around the replaced working lock and key.
