A lovely quality porcelain panelled gilt mantel antique clock. A gilded ormolu case with fine case edged detailing. Decorative embossed detailing to the case top and surmounted by a cherub. Nicely shaped feet and a recessed panel to the base. Blue and white Sevres porcelain panels to the front and sides depicting scenes and figures. An 8-day duration French mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell signed A.F and numbered 1008. Circa 1890.
