A Superb Enamel Carriage Clock
A superb French Champleve enamel carriage clock. A fluted carrying handle, side columns and standing on bun feet. An circular enamel dial with blued steel hands and black Roman numerals. Fine enamel work surrounding the dial and to the case top and base. An 8-day duration mechanism. An escapement visible through the oblong, bevelled top glass. The original travelling box. Circa 1900.
