A French brass cased striking & repeating carriage antique clock. An enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. A subsidiary alarm dial. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. A lever escapement visible through the top glass. A push button top repeating. The mechanism is numbered 3382. Circa 1880.
