A Royal National Lifeboat Institution Deed Box

A super piece of our maritime history, this tin box comes from a branch of the Institution in the South of England, it is made in metal, it is heavy piece painted in black with the name of the charity painted on a black background
The front of the box falls down supported by chains on each side and inside it is divided into shelves, it has 2 carrying handle on top the box has a key but the lock does not work very well
The box is quite heavy and in pretty sound condition with the expected signs of wear and use, it is 22” wide, 16” high and 16” deep
