A rare Caughley Peony pattern coffee pot 1776-9
Description
A rare painted Peony pattern Caughley pot. The Painted version of the Print pattern is classified by the Caughley society as "Rare", meaning less than 50 examples of the entire pattern are known. As coffee pots are hardly likely to be the predominant examples of the pattern, there is the very realistic possibility that this piece is unique!
Painted with stylised flowers and trailing foliage. Similar in design to the Worcester Mansfield pattern.
Condition
In excellent antique condition. No apparent defects, damage or restoration, apart from some minor restoration to the petals on the finial.
Dimensions
21cm in height
Payment is accepted by bank transfer, Paypal and UK personal cheque.
