A Large 17th Century Carved Oak Coffer 1660
This is a lovely old piece, with a superb patina, the chest has three decorative carved panels on the front
On the heavy top of the coffer there is deep moulded panelling surrounding the panels, this matches the sides and on the front there is a carved edge to the three carved panels
The Coffer is in good condition for its age
The coffer is 50” long, 23” deep and 24” high
