A fine quality French gorge cased carriage antique clock. A brass case with concave front and rear columns. A stepped base panel and large glass top aperture. A circular enamel dial with blued steel hands and 5 minute outer markers. A gilded dial surround. An 8-day duration timepiece mechanism. The original lever escapement. Numbered 989. Circa 1880.
