A Gorge Cased Carriage Clock
A French striking carriage antique clock. A quality gorge case with shaped and stepped mouldings and a large glass top aperture. The original lever escapement. An enamel dial with fine numerals and 'moon' blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Numbered 6362. Circa 1885.
