A fine quality Vernis Martin decorated waisted mantel antique clock, with gilt bronze mounts, in excellent original condition with the movement fully restored.
The beautifully decorated waisted shape case with finely cast mounts. The Vernis Martin (French style of painted and lacquered decoration) depicting well painted Georgian scene and floral decoration throughout - in excellent original condition.
The convex and cartouche circular enameled dial with with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. Signed indistinctly to the center for Le Roy & Fils - New Bond Street London & Paris.
A good quality fully restored spring driven 8 day timepiece movement.
Beautiful blued steel hands.
