A rare 17th Dutch coffer consisting of a most attractive four panel front decorated with flower-heads, Katherine wheels and extensive leaf / scale pattern carvings
The cleated top, back and base all made from single inch thick boards.
Some original blacksmith iron work present to top and escutcheon........ the period hinges are later.
