9ft Mahogany Long Case/ Grandfather Clock

1 of 6
This one-of-a-kind mahogany long case clock is an extraordinary example of 19th-century craftsmanship, preserved in exceptional original condition. The beautifully carved arched hood features a fret pediment and houses a stunning silver chased dial with gilded, raised numbers. The high-quality 3-train musical movement chimes on 10 tubular gongs, driven by three impressive brass weights, offering a choice between Westminster and Whittington chimes.
The glazed front and sides of the case allow ample light to showcase the magnificent brass weights, pendulum, and nickel-plated gongs. Profusely carved from the finest mahogany, this exhibition-quality clock includes side fret panels on either side of the hood and on the backboard, enhancing the sound quality of the chimes. Two subsidiary dials provide functionality—one for silencing the chimes and the other for selecting the tune to be played.
Standing at an impressive nine feet tall, this clock is not only a remarkable testament to superior craftsmanship but also a true statement piece that would add grandeur and timeless appeal to any setting.
Internal Reference: SAI1685
Height = 276 cm (108.7")
