19thC Welsh Oak Pembroke Table

A fine early 19th Century Pembrokeshire Oak drop leaf dining table of pleasantly simple design. Featuring beautifully figured timber throughout and displaying superb colour and patina. With quality craftsmanship, traditional oak hinge leaf supports and single drawer to one end, the purposeful lack of a handle adding to the clean design.
In excellent condition with just some natural shrinkage to the top boards. This is a most beautiful and practical table that will comfortably seat two people.
Length 3ft 6" = 107cm Width fully open 3ft 2" = 97cm Width closed 21.5" = 55cm Height 29.5" = 75cm
Bought privately from the decedents of a family from Nantgwyllt where the table was made and owned, a village flooded in 1905 for the creation of the Elan Valley and Claerwen reserviors.
We are always happy to provide further images and details. Delivery can be arranged on all items, please enquire for a price.
