A rather splendid 19thC drop dial wall antique clock with J Steele on its face. The case is blessed with a beautiful finish, not repolished just cleaned and buffed. Lovely depth and colour in the flame mahogany. The movement has been fully restored by Country antique clocks and is covered by a 12months returns warranty, it is in beautiful condition as can be seen in the pictures. Note the shaped plates, condition of wheels etc. This clock is the rare twin fusee, with the strike on the hour as well as the time train. It is not unusual to see these clocks at over £3000 and as much as £8000. This clock dating from mid 1800s is a smashing clean example at a price (fixed)not to be repeated with any ease.
