We are pleased to offer for sale this rare large scale panoramic oil painting on canvas of a Paddle Steamer arriving slongside a busy passenger quayside.
The painting is very detailed and captures the bustling atmosphere of a paddle steamer ferry port as the sun sets in the sky depicting early evening.
The artist is conveying a sense of the energy and purpose of Britain in its early Victorian heyday.
All in original as found condition and ready to hang.
The frame is quite decorative and is original,still in nice order for the age.
Paintings of the early passenger steamers are pretty unique and rare to find these days,making this example one which should attract many a decerning buyer,wanting to have a connection with the past history of seaborn travel.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt if the item is found to have been misdescribed and the purchaser may be liable for the return costs subject to reasons for return.
Returns authorisation should be requested by sending an e-mail before posting.
