A good looking fusee wall antique clock from the 19th Century. This has a 12inch dial with brass bezel. The movement is triping with vigour but it has a broken feather. We have taken to pieces to check out the movement and it is fine other than the feather. Unfortunately my ex colleague who was the clock restorer has now retired, very inconsiderate, so it does need this minor attention. Priced very keenly a only £250 as it is, it is around half what one might expect to pay for a fusee. Movement is fine, (has nice shaped plates) as mentioned and if you are being really fussy it may benefit from a clean, but I would not do anything other than this minor repair mentioned. give us a call if you would like to discuss. 01565 874075 We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement.
