An exceptionally fine Marquetry eight day striking portico antique clock. It is very rare to find these antique clocks with the original glass dome. The case is in exceptionally good condition with no losses, splits or cracks and everything as it should be, including the ormolu mounts. The movement has a Japy Freres stamp and is numbered 1350. This is one of the most decorative portico Clocks we have had for sometime and would grace any room in the finest of homes. We can arrange delivery to any destination. Ht 68, W 30, D 20 cms.
